August Alsina has been very open with all the bad shit that's happened in his life over the years he's been in the spotlight. Mans done battled a drug addiction, lost his siblings and adopted their kids and is raising them on his own so when people hear this and then they connect the timelines in their minds they see it as overlapping and Jada taking advantage of somebody that wasn't in the right mind for what she supposedly wanted him for.

But with that said, I don't think this was as predatory a situation as people are making it out to be.
