ESPN: The Last Dance ('98 Bulls Doc)

Here's how I see it.

Jordan = Michael Jackson
Two 3peats = Thriller & Bad
Both MJ's will always be considered the greatest by the masses. They both have one of the best catalogs in their industry.

Lebron = Prince
Beating Golden State = Purple Rain. Both feats just came out of nowhere and shocked the world.
Their all-around talent is legendary and their peak lasted a very long time. They stay winning.

Kareem = Stevie Wonder
Their run in the 70's is untouchable. Decade full of rings, awards, platinum & gold.
They get overlooked and misjudged by the younger generation of media and fans bcuz of the somewhat secluded lifestyles they lived.

Bill Russell = James Brown
Top of their game in an era where the odds were stacked against them. They played by their own rules in still had crossover success.
:think2:

How were the odds stacked against Bill Russell? He was on a stacked team during a time when the league only had like 10 teams. The odds were actually in his favor.

Did you watch the video? Is there anything you disagree with? If so, by what metric are you saying that Lebron is better? Just curious.
I did watch. Very well done

I feel like Jordan is the greatest basketball player, including his skills talent and accomplishments and popularity. The word greatest is all encompassing

When we take away the accomplishments and numbers and talk pure ball I think lebron is the best basketball player of all time because imo he can do more basketball things at a higher level. Physically he's a freak, the ultimate facilitator, playmaker and can guard/play all 5 positions

If you admit this, then you have to admit that Mike and Mike are better ENTERTAINERS.

However, at the core of being MUSICIANS, both Prince and Stevie are better at their craft, with Stevie having a longer and greater career.

Mikes = most known artists globally, and the most universally loved.

Stevie & Kareem = greatest of all time at their CRAFT.

Thanks for proving my point.

No it's a quick analogy he used to illustrate the grandiosity of Jordan. It's comparable to Michael Jackson's in music.

The skill and numbers are apparent that Michael Jordan is better than LeBron James.

Kobe Bryant is greater and imo better than LeBron James.
But he also threw in Stevie Wonder as Kareem.

Kareem and Stevie have had longer, more successful careers and have been much more consistent in their craft and greatness.

The point can’t be refuted.

The skills And numbers are not apparent and very debatable. Just the rings Are obvious

And no Kobe is not better than LBJ

Yeah no disrespect to the late great Kobe but if we're being honest the Goat argument is between mj and lebron, and that's that.

LeBron not in the conversation, 3 wins and 6 loses in finals disqualify him from it. I also remember him disappearing in the series against Dallas. GOATS aren't the reason a team loses which is the case with Lebron

He's lost way more than he's won. Even when he's stacking the deck in his favor and still loses. Only with Lebron do niggas say it's not about his losses to try and put him with in the GOAT convo

You watch ball?
stacking the deck is a false narrative y’all run with

How many finals has his team been the favorite.

I’ll wait

Stevie & Kareem both were child prodigies, both help kickstart their labels Stevie at Motown Kareem at UCLA. Both ran their industries until the new dudes took over. (Magic, Bird, Jordan- Jackson, Prince)
That all im saying. All the other stuff you are talking aboit is meh.

If you pay attention Kareem is falling behind Lebron so how can he be greater than MJ.

Don't matter, he lost double the amount he's won playing with HOF and all star caliber players by his side. Kobe wouldn't have came up small and quit during an NBA finals

He came up small against Detroit and that Boston series they won he wasn’t mamba status
