Why is being Hotep a bad thing?

None of your deflections mean anything. Every single one of those people has spoken out against white supremacy and the racist white system. They aren't perfect, but neither is Umar. Yes, he calls out white supremacy. He also has done some very questionable things. Why is it that you're so willing to ignore his faults to praise him as some kinda great black advocate, but want to dismiss others? Shit makes no sense.

Again, Umar isn't called a Hotep (disrespectfully) just because he speaks out against white racism. If you're going to continue to imply that then its clear you're being disingenuous with this thread.

Yeah, you're being disingenuous. Omarosa may have made one or two self serving comments against white authority to explain her own shortcomings. That is silly to even bring up beside the work of Dr. West or Dr. Dyson, people who have been advocating for blacks for decades..

And I'm not talking about baby mothers or strippers. I don't care about those things either. I'm talking about apparent mismanagement of money, promotion of historical half-truths and sometimes outright falsehoods, resistance against validating credentials, childish attacks against dissenting voices, etc... Even his general behavior is clownish. Which of those are traits or actions you want from a leader in a cause? It amazes me that people like you can bash Christian preachers (sometimes rightfully so), but then get behind a dude like this. He's the same kinda wolf just rocking different wool.

I’ve spoken on the money thing with him. He’s clearly in over his head and he’s trying to do something that it takes a lot of money to do. Relying solely on crowd funding isn’t sustainable. What credentials didn’t he validate? What half truths. What childish attacks?

No that wasn't my logic. Don't be dense. I provided you with a list of people of have systematically and consistently took positions and expressed sentiment against white supremacy. You brought up Omarosa. Even you know that was stupid and pointless.

Ok, and if he was a responsible advocate and not a crook, if he came up against financial challenges that he wasn't able to handle, he would have sought help to get on track. But that's not what he does, he brow beats his supporters for not giving enough money. When people have asked for transparency in what is being done with the money, he refuses to give it and lashes out.

He resisted showing his degrees for a couple years at least.
He's pushed the "original Chinese were black" type bullshit in the past.
He's beefed with Tariq and Boyd Watkins, people apparently on his side over bullshit. When he was on Roland Martin's show, he was unfairly targeted IMO, but he couldn't respond intelligently, he just resorted to high school style snapping. That's who that dude is. You ignoring that is tantamount to Trump fans ignoring that our president is a conman.

That's your disparaging view of them. As I said, you're giving so much credit to Umar for speaking out against white supremacy. Those people have consistent records of speaking out against white supremacy regardless of whatever personal attacks you want to make on them. You didn't attack my "dumb ass" logic. You made a stupid nonsensical comment to sidestep my point. Those people may be flawed, but they have consistently spoken out against white supremacy. Why is it that their flaws disqualify them from being credible voices for the black community but Umar's don't?

He showed degrees. I never said he didn't. I specifically he resisted proving his credentials. Again, that was two years of fussing back and forth that he could have avoid quickly. So why didn't he? I don't know, but I do know that letting a little controversy live is a tactic commonly used by conmen to keep their names alive.

If he got help, he would have made progress. Other people have started schools in the time that Umar has been on this crusade. If he has the money he claims he's gotten, he could be farther along. That's just a fact.

Let's just keep it real. Umar doesn't just speak out against white supremacy. He espouses disparaging and close to anti-white rhetoric and he has a philosophy of separation. You don't like white people. So just be honest. You like Umar and will ignore all his other bullshit because he's on a more "Fuck Whitey" tip than any of the people I named.
