The official COVID-19/Coronavirus Discussion Thread...aka I hope I don't get the Rona

Also went to lidl a store that’s similar to aldi so you have to bring your own bags or buy the paper bags for like 15 cents each

we went in there and forgot to scan the bags we used (we used like 10) so when the self checkout register wasn’t working and I had to call for help. So after he helped us he asked us if we paid for the bags I said “yep”

we go outside and she like lol why are you stealing bags? I’m like it’s a pandemic

lmao this is so disrespectful
Lidl is where i do my shopping. Can't beat them prices

can't soap n water counter tops

can't soap n water rooms
uhh........yea you can. As for the rooms comment...they plan on splashing bleach on everything in an entire room? You just wipes down the surfaces you touch and wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.

Ppl keep shitting on capitalism but if u take away the pandemic itself a lot of people live similar to this everyday.

And by this I mean food shortages, queuing for essential goods, punishment for calling out poor conditions (happening to some healthcare workers), strict government control (in this case tho shutdown/social distance is necessary)

All of which slightly mirrors a communist government.

Capitalism left unchecked is terrible it needs more balance but what we (some more than others) going thru right now used to be normal way of life for a lot of people without the medical masks n gloves and a pandemic crisis.

I don't disagree but the abuse and government control is farrrrrr more widespread and over bearing in a communist government.

Criticise capitalism all day long that's fine. Systems need to be put under the microscope and pushed to improve. But to do so in praise of socialism?? Ehhh

Bruh I've seen people explain that your understandin' of socialism doesn't seem to be right a few times now.

No insults, no disrespect but bro please research democratic socialism and see how its different from the big bad 1950s style communism/socialism you are so weary of.
