I dont think the things, race and gender, are comparable at all but I'd have a serious discussion with them about it also

I think I'm one of the few ppl that didn't trip about Nkechi Diallo identifying as a black woman. Was it weird? Yes. But you cant discount the work she did and was willing to do under the guise of being of African descent.

From the article posted, I didn't see any where that wade and union were gonna physically change the sex of their kid. Just the name and I guess clothes. So how did some of you get to that point? Or was it said some where else? Life would be easier for some of y'all to just say you hate gays/ trans. Not everyone in here that is against wade decision hates gays/trans but some of y'all do. But this is not new. Are we going to act like there are not kids out here who know they are gay or feel like they want to be another sex at early ages? They try to hide it from everyone and really have a hard life in school until they are old enough to live on their own. Not getting the support and love at home is a big factor, not the only factor, on why some of these kids end up traumatised later in life. Sorry but there is not enough tv in the world that will make your son like sucking dick or your daughter like licking clit. If they are not phsically or sexually atttacted to the same sex, tv won't change that. Now I will agree that tv/media can influence clothes and toy choices. Like showing boy's they can dress like girls and play with barbies and make it ok. But you have full control over what they watch and do on the internet. It is the outside world, friends, school, that changes a lot of children. Things where your control is alot looser. I watched a lot of bugs bunny when I was a kid and never wanted to kiss a man or be a woman.

There are more straight people in the US then there are gays. Being promiscuous has nothing to do with being gay or straight. Men in general usually have a higher number of sexual partners then women. Gay or straight

Transracial is fake. I’m sure there have been times when somebody passed for white during segregation for a better life. It’s one documented story of a white woman claiming to be black. I don’t think it’s a mental disorder a hormone thing or even a trend. One person doing something does not make it a thing.

Transgendered been around since forever it’s been documented and all that. People aren’t just becoming transgendered because it’s trendy. We hear about it more because they are more open. But transracial has no history. Until you get an ample size of white peoples wanting to be Black or Latino or Asian. And then what makes somebody transracial. You can’t feel black it’s not an emotion. You can’t get melanin implants and look like a black person. Never heard of anybody killing themselves because they couldn’t be accepted as a different race.

how do you feel black? You feel black? Describe how someone who is not black would show they want to be black? Do they get tans and locs? Do they use our slang? Do they just imitate black Americans or other groups.

Gender is a whole different thing. Trying to add in race seems like some right wing troll shit. Like all lives matter.

If it’s a mental illness how can it be treated? Make them take classes and meds and counseling? Can’t say it’s a mental illness with no ways to treat it. I’m sure @konceptjones gonna have an article of some guy who was trans for awhile and then decided he didn’t want to do it.
