The Lesbian Duo Oprah & Gayle Mission To Kill Black Men Thread

Snoop been called out for misogyny all the time since early 90s he already apologized so he admits he was wrong. Gayle seems to regret that shit too. I really think they both famous enough to know it was going to be backlash for what they did.

As a general question is there a too soon when it comes to celebrities and certain topics? We don’t care about Weinstein but if he beat his case and dies like 10 years from now would it be wrong for somebody to bring up his charges?

This Kobe shit got people up in arms because he was an icon and he was a black man accused of raping a white lady and historically we know how that shot goes. But eventually we had to know that somebody was going to bring it up. With Snoop and Gayle I mean they had to know they were gonna cause some shit to stir in this day.

So now black people mad for all these reasons. Men feel like they tried to paint Kobe as a rapist. Women feeling like niggas was way to fast to co-sign snoop without saying anything about the language he used.

Maybe as a community we might too invested into the lives of famous people. Like their opinions hold more weight due to fame and money. But forgetting that these are all entertainers and they can be smart af but a lot of times they are out of their lane on certain topics and they all cool with each other.

But I don’t think this tarnished Kobe legacy or ruined Gayle or ruined Snoop

lmaoooo nigga turn off game of thrones

Race... I genuinely don't want to insult you... And I'm really trying hard not to 'cause you just handed me all the ammo I could ever need in just seven words... But if you believe that quote was from GOT, even after I included it's author, then you've really shown how little you truly know about anything.

I'm not at home at the moment, and this is a pic I once posted up on the IC about shit I was reading at that time. It's the middle book, The Art of War, by Sun Tzu. I recommend you reading it. War has been waged for over 1600 years based on the principals laid out here. It's applicable to many other aspects of life as well.

I was speaking about the bs you wrote above the quote

its on white folxs to fix this society, not us.
they aint gon do it so make your time useful here by making our hoods viable and safe for all Black ppl

Why would you expect white folks to empower us??? What benefit is there to your oppressor to place you on equal footing as them?

You make some very good points. What I disagree with is that I don't feel most people feel like Gayle was wrong for bringing it up. I think the issues were how she brought it up and the fact that it came off like she didn't like Lisa Leslie first answer so Gayle's push back to that was very accusatory of something that the charges were dropped on regarding Kobe. Add on that she has had a very different take when it has come to the white men that have the same, less or worse allegations made against them.

Gayle statement the other day basically said she rides with her friends and those who ain't her friend she is not going to go easy on regarding #metoo type of shit. That is actually very understandable but when you are a journalist that shit don't come off right and put said journalist in the best of light.

Let me add people need to stop with the fake ass Snoop threatened Gayle shit. Yall know damn well that we coming for you Gayle shit was really about fucking up her money and tv shit not any violence. That's some bullshit.

thats yalls problem now. want all the smoke but dont wanna read

I read plenty but when so called in the know folks want to be assholes instead answering a basic question. Then that's what you're going to get from me.

Since it's fuck what I'm talking about it's fuck your issue.

Fair exchange ain't never been a robbery.
