Kaepernick Continues to Love Being a Martyr

I don’t like how his guys diss the players that’s doing the same thing Kaep is doing or even more because they not doing it their way

So you think these businessmen don't know how to make smart business moves? You ever think of how things set precedents? How giving a guy 40 times what the next highest paid players are making could lead to everyone wanting more money? What if another star player considers joining the league? With Kaep @ 20 mil being the bar, could they afford them? I doubt it.

I talked to Nessa at some Hot 97 event a couple a years ago.. She Black & arabic.. But I really don’t know why that really matters.. Because she speaks out more about social justice than a lot full blooded Black Queens do.. The fact she’s willing to speak on those issues is what should matter.. Not that she’s only half black...
he speaking on black issues ....ok cool.
but shes also hurting her man in the process.

Ya, but people still feel bad for him for not being allowed to play football. And that multimillionaire thing doesn't help the martyr image, so he gave us this

heres the thing.....

when he did all that shit with practicing.....or working out for the teams.....that was a power play on his part.

ok he did it...fine.
then to wear the kunta kente shirt while practicing for the people you claim dont want you to express yourself.

why not put the ball totally in their court and let them hold the weight.
his shirt and him relocating gave them an out.

just like taking the check and not speaking on it....gave them an out.

him taking the nike money when nike donates money to the people who dont like him....made them rich and gave THEM an out.

then talk about how someone not hiring him?
dude sound like a troubled employee and a sell out to the very cause yall standing up for.

You're worth what someone will pay you. NFL, XFL, CFL...who's giving him $20 mil/year? And he's asking for more money than an entire roster. If you're valuing yourself out of finding any employment, you're over valuing yourself.

So you’re saying Kap should lower his price for a second-tier football league which may not be around in a year or two.. So they then can then turn around and make tons a money off using his likeness plus all the merchandise sales they will make off him.. Also the networks are going to make sure they maximize their advertising dollars.. They’ll get when they have Kap’s games on.. So Kap shouldn’t take any of that in account when assessing his worth.. He should just accept whatever the XFL offers him.. And not think about all the revenue that will generated off his presence alone...

you have a point but how are you going to a second tier league with top tier requests?
they dont have the nfl budget.

you not going to go from ceo of xerox to ceo of a mom and pop corner store and demand the same salary an be surprised when they look at you funny.

so its not about what hes worth...is more about where hes trying to work.

What players are doing what did Kap or more.. I haven’t seen any NBA or NFL players speaking these pigs killing niggas recently.. Or even speaking out against police brutality at all recently.. There was an unarmed black man who got killed last week execute style while handcuffed.. I haven't seen any players using their various platforms to speak out against that or something similar to that situation at all...

Vince McMahon is billionaire who has the backing of Fox & ESPN.. This isn’t some mom and pop type of deal.. He doesn’t want pay Kap his worth because he wants keep the wages down to minimize his costs.. He does the same thing with his wrestling business...

You think thats the only issues we facing?

Jenkins and D. Davis is putting fucking big work just like a lot of other players that is affecting change. Dudes showing up to city meetings regarding changes in policy that needs to be made and all other type shit.

Police Killings is a problem but its only 1 problem and some would argue not the biggest problem. Cant change a cop thats already racist. You have to do more to make sure those type aint ever hired

I personally think this whole thing started cuz he consistently out priced himself....

The kneeling shit was definitely an issue.... But it was easy to push him out the league from the very jump because he initially out priced himself when it was time to re-sign....he was asking for crazy high numbers on top of a national debate... It was an easy no....

They blackballed him after he was out the door, but he helped them push him out when he was negotiating that contract

so why would kap think he different?
