Be better and think bigger than my post

Be clear in your post. The point was with less people hearing, less people will criticize. So Redman will be criticized way less than Eminem because way less people will listen to him.

The point is nobody does it. That's it.

Farewell is actually good. Ok Em

Ya, we get that. The question is why does it looks like he gets away with it when Em doesn't. I just gave a possible explanation.

Your explanation is wrong. People have biases and make up every excuse in the book to fit their narrative.

Y’all niggaz line stepped tha fuck outta some Redman slander while arguing about this trash ass album...

:ghost: Watch it....

On topic....I didn’t even realize niggaz was still listenin’ to Em like that...I listened to that Yay Yay song...it was cool...I’ve officially grown a strong hate for Em’a voice tho...wish he wasn’t on his own track...might listen to tha Slaughterhouse and Royce featured songs...might not...besides that y’all can keep this shit

Didn't say anything bad about Redman. Never commented on his ability or skills. I just said he's not popular anymore.

Annnnnd define “popular” lol...if you mean he’s not a “pop artist” doin’ shit for social media and radio famedom...then yes...you’d be right...but if you saying he doesn’t still have a strong fan base in which he is very popular in...then you’d be wrong

No Reggie Noble slander will be tolerated...

Haha, he may have a fan base, but he's not popular anymore. I liked Cam, he's in the same boat.

You too young to have such a pessimistic attitude fam lol...fuck popularity...it’s 2020...everything’s available so everything’s accessible so everything’s popular...Cam just put out a dope album...don’t matter if 5000 or 50000000 people listen to it...it’s there to be “consumed”....

I say all tha to say this....FUCK popularity...if a nigga still spittin’ and makin’ entertaining music like Redman it don’t matter if he not all over social media and radio

even with less people listening, the people that ARE fans aren’t begging for mature Redman material. They are just happy to hear dude rap!

that’s the point I was trying to make. Redman fans only want/expect him to do what he does. He’s already solidified on their lists! He can have not so great albums and it doesn’t change the opinion of his fan base.

^^^I agree with this

But the mode of people that buy music are 17 years old. 17 year olds aren't buying/streaming the new Redman album.

Somebody posted the new KRS One on my Facebook page. The song was kinda dope but it didn't really have a catchy beat that people would dance to at a club.

I don’t care about the mode of the people.

homie tried to make a point about how Eminem’s music never matured and tried to use that as a basis of argument. It’s a point to make but it’s a point that’s really inconsequential due to the type
of rapper he is.

dude is saying “Eminem never made an album like 4:44” and shit like that...as if Eminem was ever going to be the type of rapper to make that type of shit.

Eminem came in the game on some goofy shit and I got a good feeling that he’s gonna leave the game on some goofy shit. Funny thing is, I remember when people would say “he’s Eminem, why doesn’t he drop an album with a serious lead single for once”. “Darkness” is the first single and it’s serious as a heartbeat...double entendre & everything.

bottom line, it’s ok to outgrow artists.
