Official 2019-2020 NBA Thread

Last game I watched of them I was wondering how many of the PFs will be left on the squad after the trade deadline.
Yeah man they can save all the cap for 2021 all they want. Nobody wants to play there so just make the trades now for decent players to put around Knox, Barrett, Robinson and Frank and just create a culture and go from there

Oh shit they gonna have to find a coach in the summer lol

But these are the Knicks. They might have the same damn roster at the end of the year.

Bro stop prefacing your posts like this

And actually never mind, Jrue not gonna exercise his option for 2021-2022 and trading for him is cool if we weren’t trying to be in the running for Giannis

But I do know Justise, dragic, and something to the effect of a first rounder or DJJ possibly
cool

thanks for the insight

I don't mean that in a facetious way either

We gonna have a conversation about Dennis Smith Jr one day but it’s gonna be on a slow day
Don't think there is much of a conversation to be had. He was never an elite passer coming into the NBA, so he had to be able to shoot the ball to open other areas of his game. Unfortunately for him, he is barely over 30% from three in his career and barely over 60% from the ft line. Bad combination for a PG to have to be effective in the NBA.

Lonzo kinda has the same problem, but at least he has his passing and defense to fall back on.

Speaking of Lonzo, @southsil4lil , is Nico Mannion pretty much Lonzo with a better jump shot? I have not watched him play enough to get a feel of his defense.

The Towers with a combined 16 in the first half. Green needs to show up and the threes have to start falling in the second half.

Is this isht contagious? First @AP21 and now you? Do I need to update my antivirus?
man nobody worried about beta and that woe is me shit...he know his reputation in here subjects him to any negative criticism when its not heat related

but i'll do my part

if you would've told me that Garrett Temple would've had a longer NBA career than Big Baby when they came out of college, i would've thought you were smoking crack

this dude really reinvented himself and did things at the NBA level that i wish he could've done in his time at LSU. He always giving back to the city too. Glad he has managed to stick around as long as he has

Like the aggression im seeing from lonzo early, but he needs to put his head down and drive to the goal. Point blank period.

Favors looking better

BI has been getting some very annoying fouls early in games which fucks up the rotations when he has to go to the bench early.

If Gentry insists on starting Kenrich, which im not opposed to per se, then he has to tell him to drive the ball to the hole until the 3 ball starts falling.

I need to see NAW get some minutes tonight

Jared Allen is still pretty good defensively

and as i type post, Allen has just picked up his 4th block on BI playing pretty good defense without fouling

Yup

He definitely doesnt have the size or defensive upside that Lonzo has(at least from what I've seen) but yeah a much better jumper and already has a pretty decent runner, I think hes better a breaking down defenses in the halfcourt too

They both have a very similar feel for the the game though

Knicks on pace to win 3 out of the last 4 games
Small sample size but let’s see if my hunch was right because usually when there’s a coaching change or a star player is injured a team plays pretty well for a bit

Horrible third so far. Gotta tighten up. Going into Milwaukee off an L is not a good look. Especially with them having just lost at home.
