Welcome To aBlackWeb

Eminem is not a musical legend.

this what I feel it all comes down to

hes been catapulted bc the masses (white population) can relate (miss me with the mom hate though) and has the skill to back it up. and it was still new to see a white rapper be dominant in hip hop.
He got skills , got the right co-sign and backing

And let’s not forget the racist tapes....according to Benzino Jimmy Iovine tried and failed to buy the tape from him so it would not be released

Movie about southern black culture wrapped in a love story or movie about a white savior complex wrapped in a hip hop background

this goes for the majority of artists though

those same "cosigns and backing" wouldn't have bothered if they didn't see that talent.

I can name way more mediocre/unsuccessful white rappers than I can Em level white rappers

Dr Dre prolly the heaviest co-sign in the game

His first album still stands the test of time and is a classic he broke barriers for cacs and gave us many many many entertaining moments he has released alot of garbage along with great music but the entire scope of his career allows him to be called a legend in hip-hop he is highly respected by his peers and probably is still the only white boy to get played in the hood at a time where hood negroes opinions mattered musically. He is a extremely flawed human being and easily criticised but u cannot take away his hip-hop contributions

Opened doors for crackers?! Lol what
