1. Would you shoot to kill?
2. Even if you would, you said it yourself, you'd shoot them niggas more so 'for trying it' like you just the nigga to run up on, moreso than you really feared for your life.
3. #1 and #2 don't really mean shit, because we're talking about YOU, not a police officer. You don't have an obligation to protect and serve. We give police officers special duties and special abilities - the ability to act as the authority in any situation, enforce the law, and use lethal force when the situation calls for it. We issues them deadly weapons to facilitate that. All that means that they are held to a different standard the the average Tom, Dick, or Freeman walking around, ya know?

I agree with what you said for the most part, but I do think there is a difference between not giving a fuck about human life and not valuing the lives of others over your own. I think in cases like this its the latter. In cases where cops just shoot people in the back as they're running away, it's the former.

She was armed and approaching an officer with a look of intent.

Cop's talking too much too because he realized he fucked up.
Simply because there's no reason to keep telling her to "put down the scissors" after he already shot her and she's on the ground not moving.
At that point, she's no longer a threat to him.
Basically, he's overplaying the scissors angle to justify shooting her.
Just like white cops overreacting when they shoot us, there's no reason she couldn't have been subdued with a taser.
Since he's black, he's probably gonna get thrown under the bus and made an example of.
