I answered the implication behind your question. You act as if football is all they can do. I pointed out that most are in shape to do other things but choose to still work for the NFL. They could play in the CFL and make millions but they choose not to. And that's their right.
Fine. So what else can they do that racism don’t exist? You’re saying there is no racism in the CFL?

I don't know what they plan to do on the side that has everyone up in arms. I'm choosing to wait to see if it's something of substance or just a PR stunt.

I asked do you think there's a good part in this deal? Do you believe in your mind that this NFL deal will better black folks? and if so how? Your thoughts

I do not know. Could good come from it, sure. Could it be all about optics, yes. All I know is what was announced and am waiting to see if the partnership does anything of substance or not.

And what do you mean by "better black folks"? What all falls into that category?

Niggas on that side of the stance, got so many holes, they start getting jammed up with what they are saying and then start drifting away on other asinine things and going back to the "well what you doing out here" or "well Jay aint in it to solve black ppl problems, he bout to be an owner so we should be glad of that" or "well, I'm wait and see and see the good side of the deal"

When asked what can come outta of this deal that will help black ppl, niggas start nigga babbling and saying things with no substance smh

Heart breaking to see how we are so sensitive when it comes to having real actions being done for black ppl smh. It's sad.

Again I ask, does the player see all of that 2.7 in real time, what they print on paper and what we read about is not what they are left with when they start living life?

We all know what taxes are. How about this, since you have a problem with me saying that most players are millionaires, prove me wrong. I gave you numbers to support my claim. Now prove your stance that I'm wrong.

same could be said of you. @Mister came in here with facts about the average players pay and you pivoted to.... "well do they make a million after taxes?" lol

Ok.

You're just "hoping" gotcha, There goes that word again "Hope"

Niggas talking Jay-z bringing in his homies to run shit, when the average black man that gets an executive position in a corporation any where in the world wouldn't even be able to hire his own mama in the same realm, let alone his buddies for that company, but we suppose to believe Jay will hire his homies and they will run shit and change shit for the better of black ppl

Token niggas are the new W for black ppl who have this "hope" mindset smh

Black ppl, it's time out for all this LaLa Land thinking

Idiotic take from Eric Reid imo

Smh

Ion wanna hear shit about this from a nigga that is still playin for the organization...

Exactly

Smh. I'm glad he's back in the league...but c'mon man. Eric needs to think 1st before speaking. You saying all of this at the same time cashing them Panthers checks. Bruhhh. Focus on the issue.

I mean I may not agree wit Malcolm Jenkins accepting the 80 million from the owners (I think they could've gotten a helluva lot more), but I gotta give the brotha for taking action. Kap was the seed that started this that brought it to light. No one should forget that. But people gotta realize the path to social justice is gonna grow and yield many different branches. Same goal...different paths.

Instead of complaining all the time...offer solutions or continue creating MORE paths towards the common goal.

I'm not hoping for a damn thing. I'm choosing to wait and see instead of being either optimistic or pessimistic. Nothing will be lost by me not having a firm opinion at this moment. So why rush?

This is what I mean, taking things at face value. If you make 100k, do you see the whole 100k? I can make 1 million dollars, after everything is done and I start living, I'm not a millionaire. How is this me pivoting?

You gave me an article which can be misleading if you don't take into consideration how life operates. That's the part I'm proving where you are wrong at.

The NFL wants you to believe that everybody is a millionaire when that's not the case
