Not a part of what? Elaborate
reading everyone's posts in here and on my TL, one of the biggest question marks or assumptions was that somehow Kap was going to be apart of this. Like, how is Jay gonna do this shit and not have Kap involved

Eric Reid tweeted out yesterday Kap has zero involvement in this...soooooooooo depending on which side of the discussion you are on, you either now have your evidence to support jay, be against Jay, or still wait for more info

Why does it matter if he is involved?

Oh ok I get what you saying now.

Travis Scott was getting so much shit from a lot of people on hip hop for performing at the superbowl only a few months for this to happpen.
i give him shit b/c he thinks he's more talented than he is and it it wasnt for these leaned out, xaned out kids, this nigga 15 min would've been over

well, 1, dont shoot the messenger

2, if the goal was to highlight how there is still a blatant injustice being done against him, and now you've attached one of the biggest names in hip hop to the league that was "proven" to have blackballed him, i think its safe to assume that there had to be some input/collaboration with Kap to further the message and to drive the point home that the NFL has a ton of work to do when it comes to being sensitive to racial inequalities/injustices outside of the hash marks on the field.

I dont think anyone should be faulted for applying that assumption

BUT, there are two things going on at the same time that seemed to be getting intertwined with each other

1) If you haven't fucked with Jay for a while, then nothing this dude does/will do shy of curing Aids or cancer will be good in your eyes, and even if he did that, there will still be some asterisks applied...so further demonizing him is an exercise in futility

2) the NFLPA is getting absolutely NO blame for what happened to Kap. If you ask me, they have come out squeaky clean in all this when they should've been the loudest.

When you compromise with the HOUSE you lose.. The players coalition is a fucking sham the NFL it a bunch if good ones.. its was a PR campaign and people are lapping it up..

They are fashioning it into some after school special bullshit.. It's a damn shame how bcrisis management and PR catches people up in the swoop..

Ask yourselves this what is gained what does this mask..?

Minority ownership is.. Nathan

They hire one fuckin type of black coach gingerbread man cookies have more variance

They are continuing to black ball kap

They abhor explicit demonstration that puts a spot light on white supremacy

They are repackaging social justice... As something in the image of benelovent grace unto disadvantaged negroes

Can't truss it.

What concession and agreements have been made

Maybe the NFL is looking at Nike and trying to figure out to double up.

I would love to hear jayz explain this shit..

the thing this whole thread ...the nipsey thread and the xxxtencion thread and a few others...

niggas selectively look the other way about someones past and selectively give passes and selectivity want to boycott shit.

nothing is consistent yet want people to be consistent.

so lets say the nfl brought in jay to help their image....
do you look at it like they are trying to fix it or do you see it as...nah fuck you still?

serious question.

They are saying well niggas love you and essentially do whatever u tell them to do....ratings are down reputation is in the mud....can you fix this w ur ppls?
so do they get credit for trying? or is it still fuck the nfl?
and did Kap get hate for falling back with a check?
i mean since we talking about jayz is in it for the money.

are people mad at the players for still playing?
are people mad at those who didnt kneel with kap?

its alot to be angry about.....im just curious why this falls onto jayz?
cuz if he wasnt the one ...someone else would be the one...but that doesnt take away from the other black people no one is mad at.

No they don't get credit for trying cause they really not trying to change shit. They just want the look of trying to change shit.

Kaep took the check but he still putting in the same social work as before. Not like he took the nfl settlement check and Nike check and said fuck it.

He is in it for the money but that don't mean that is his only reason. What do you think came up first in that meeting with Jay z, Roc Nation producing the halftime show or the social justice issues?

Folks can't go to war with no money. Even though people hate on him Pimp C said it "how the fuck you gonna go to war when you bitch ass niggas ain't got no cheese"
