OPINION The Mueller Report Thread

lol @ the rage from the left

This left and right dichotomy really is obfuscatin'. All Americans should be angry, your president is a foreign asset. But even if there was no foul plat, all Americans should question how someone so blatantly incapable became president.

Dems need to chill on being so vocal about getting the full report. If that shit does get released and vindicates Trump even more it's going to be even worse for Dems.

Get that shit behind the scenes and only speak out when you got something concrete and actionable.
I gotta say tho i agree its rare af for either side to ever admit they were wrong n let shit go. Been hearing about nothin but collusion n either somethin funny is still goin on behind the scenes or mfs just ran with the media blindly once again and no one cares or remembers who or what caused us to follow a dead end all this time just to hand the douche a W. Just a whole shit show.

All its been and ever will be if folks keep going for the same bullshit over and over again.

There's a reason the AG didn't release full report and summarized instead. If the report totally vindicates Trump, it would be public by now.

That's the same line of thinking that got the Dems in this spot in the first place. If Trump didn't do anything why is he so against the Special Counsel?

Don't be so sure there's something in the report that they're trying to hide. Could be very valid reasons why they didn't immediately release it. If Dems keep hollering about them hiding something, then they release it and there was nothing to hide, Dems look stupid once again.

I never said that. You've read exactly what I said which I will repeat. AMERICA IS NOT A DEMOCRACY.

You can't partially do some shit but want to be considered 100% of something different. Shit don't work that way.

Ok cool. I was assuming you held one of the only remotely plausible theories to substantiate that claim - misguided as that theory might be.

Don’t hide your hands, then.

  • What do you define as a Democracy?
  • Why do you believe America is not a Democracy?

What could those valid reasons be?

You see nothing funny about a Trump appointee, that came out publicly against the investigation, summarizing a report that took months and millions to complete instead of making the full report public? And because of a change in the statute made in 1999, the AG has full discretion on whether to make it public or not.

Instead of bitching to get Republicans to release the full report.. cant they call in Mueller himself to testify?

I can say

“A FISH IS THE CEO OF AMAZON”

And someone tells me that’s inaccurate - the burden of proof is on me.

If there is no basis for it and I can’t defend it, than the statement doesn’t mean anything.

Its just me yelling random shit.

They are going to do both.

Qualitative and Quantitive evidence and conclusions are necessary to get the full picture.

Fuck are you talking about hiding hands and shit? Nigga just ask your fucking questions.

Definition of democracy
1a: government by the people especially : rule of the majority
b: a government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through a system of representation usually involving periodically held free elections

Definition of republic
1a(1): a government having a chief of state who is not a monarch and who in modern times is usually a president
(2): a political unit (such as a nation) having such a form of government
b(1): a government in which supreme power resides in a body of citizens entitled to vote and is exercised by elected officers and representatives responsible to them and governing according to law

Evidence shows we have a mix so with it being a mix that means this country doesn't have and is not a democracy. Can't be a mix of something but claim you are 100% of something. I say again shit don't work like that.

You answered the first question but not the second:

Why do you believe America is not a democracy?

Y’all gotta cut this shit out

America’s government has democratic elements but it’s not a pure democracy, no country on the planet is a pure democracy besides Switzerland.

This is obvious. Of course we are a Democratic Republic.

We aren’t purely capitalistic.
And we aren’t purely socialistic either.

But I don’t want to assume what he means as I did before.

Surely he isn’t using semantics to draw a straw man argument as to why Trump isn’t slowly destroying the Democracy we have in this country because technically “we aren’t a [pure] democracy” although effectively in a number of critically important ways we obviously are.

But I can’t know for sure.

I absolutely see something funny about that. But I'm not arrogant or naive enough to think I know for sure that there are no other reasons why the report isn't being made public.

That was the issue with Dems and media attitude toward the investigation. They acted like there was no way he wasn't guilty of collusion and now look at them.

You failed to answer the first question I asked.

If there is something funny about the AG not making the report public, what sense would it make for Democrats to not demand the full report be made public?

Even if they only release the Executive Summary (by Mueller) to the public that would be a lot more objective to than what we got from Barr.

Congress definitely needs to have access to the full report.

IMO Trump and the GOP aint scared of public opinion...its if the Dem controlled House sees strong enough evidence to impeach...and again...once that happens...its a diff ballgame...

All I'm saying is move in silence until you get the report. They out here talking all this shit as if the full report may lead to something more.

Get the report in hand and shut up until you know you've got something to talk about. Otherwise the same exact thing happens and Trump looks even better.
