Friday Night Smackdown Thread - 4/26 (Draft Night 1)

I'm just hoping they don't drop the ball w/ the shit. I'm not saying the winner should have a rocket strapped to their back but they should have a clear direction going forward, don't just let em win and then not feature them on TV for weeks cause then this whole thing is pointless.

few excerpts below:
Kofi Kingston’s journey brings him back to Madison Square Garden

WWE Champion Kofi Kingston is returning to where the spark was first lit.

When SmackDown LIVE emanates from Madison Square Garden this Tuesday night, it will also mark Kingston’s return to the location that put him on the map. In a truly full circle moment, Kofi’s incredible journey will bring him to back to MSG, where he memorably smashed Randy Orton through a table in 2009, as he now once again engages in an ongoing battle with The Viper.

What will Kingston’s return to The World’s Most Famous Arena bring? And how will the WWE Champion respond to The Apex Predator’s recent attacks on The New Day just five nights before he and Orton collide for the WWE Title at WWE Clash of Champions?

The Undertaker returns to SmackDown Live

The bell tolls for The Undertaker’s first-ever SmackDown LIVE appearance at Madison Square Garden.

The Phenom has made plenty of memories before at MSG, including his matchup against Mankind at Survivor Series 1996, his WWE Championship clash with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin at SummerSlam 1998 and his fraternal faceoff with Kane at Wrestlemania XX.
What will happen when The Deadman rises again at “The World’s Most Famous Arena” during SmackDown LIVE?

The Shane McMahon vs. Chad Gable match was a Vince McMahon call, PWInsider.com has been told. As we noted earlier, there was a pitch for a battle royal but it was shot down. Shane vs. Gable will close Smackdown
