I get it. Some franchises lend themselves to deeper storylines, but who wants to see anything in a blade movie besides Blade being badass, vampires being a threat, and some good action?

Again, it’s because like I said, they’re trying to move many of the movies that come out from being so traditionally masculine. Blade is supposed to be about a black man, killing vampires and doing so in a very cold almost autistic like way. Not quite like the terminator, but something sort of close. With a little bit of coolness to him. They was trying to make this dude like fifth on the depth chart of his own movie.

The movie has had different writers get fired throughout the process so I don't give a shit what the initial layout of what the film was gonna be.
