Thats what I thought when it came out. But it came on Music Choice this morning and I realized I know all the words.
There's a difference between songwriting and spitting. Nas, Black Thought, Loaded Lux, and Jadakiss can spit. But they don't write catchy songs like Baby Got Back.
It takes a certain skill set to write a catchy song that people dance to at parties. Big was a master at that. Jay too.
Having said that, Sir Mix A Lot isn't much of a spitter but Baby Got Back is well written and a classic.
Always thought it was trash... I never fckd with '2 Live Crew' either, but I appreciate what they did for the industry (especially luke) and what Luke does for the community...
