Omg can we hurry up and lock them up
Young Thug’s lawyer Brian Steel questioned YSL co-founder Trontavious “Tick” Stephens about the details of his December 2022 plea agreement. As part of the questioning, he had Tick read aloud the factual basis that supports the plea, and he asked about Thug’s involvement. (Steel always calls Thug “Jeffery,” referring to his legal name, Jeffery Lamar Williams.)
Thug IS mentioned in the plea's factual basis because Tick admits to being the Tick in Thug's song "Eww."
As Steel's exam progresses, we're seeing more signs about how fierce he could become and what his argument could be.
Like when he says Tick wasn't with Thug when he was doing all that work. Steel is trying to gradually paint a picture of the jury hat depicts Tick as hanging around Thug when Thug had left gang banging behind.
The way he’s twirling and holding a gun in the video…..he’s neither. He just gayI've been watching some of the googly eyed bitch videos about this and either tick is the greatest actor I've ever seen or that boy is on the retardation scale
The racketeering conspiracy charge against Young Thug and the other YSL defendants is supported by 191 so-called overt acts that the indictment alleges were done to support YSL as a gang and/or increase its notoriety.
One of the overt acts is series of May 13, 2021, instagram message in which Thug wrote, “y’all ain’t beat em up or shot em yet” and “y’all — getting soft.”
Trontavious “Tick” Stephens was one of the people in the gruop chat, and his December 2022 plea deal admitted the overt act. But in cross-examination on Monday, Young Thug’s lawyer Brian Steel walked Tick aka Slug through the full series of messages to try to show jurors that prosecutors took Thug’s messages out of context.
The full discussion is an argument between Tick and someone who was telling YSL members’ girlfriends of their infidelity.
Steel is trying to persuade the jury that Thug’s messages weren’t a call for violence; they were his way of telling his friends to stop arguing. “This private conversation was him telling two friends, ‘stop it.,’ right?” Steel asked.
“That’s what I got from it,” Tick answered.
YES lol
