They recommend 8 to 12 oz of water.You could have it hot tea or cold. No sugar needed, I mixed that one I posted with matcha green tea. Very good stuff

No, It has more of a sweet taste. it doesn't have anything left over when you taste. It tastes more like if you were making regular tea that after seeping it, you add extra sugar. I will say though, the matcha overpowered the ginger.
