They don’t technically own TNA… yet. I honestly believe if that ever happens it means TNA is dead cuz no way would they keep that company up.

He said 2026 was his last year
If his contract with one company was up in Feb of 2026
Then he isnt obligated to end his career in Feb. 2026 just cause his contract ended in that company

HBK's "retirement" match was against Taker even tho he came back for that saudi match and WWE themselves dont even acknowledge that match even happened. WWE isnt gonna trip about him finishing his year elsewhere so no need for this mental gymnastics

AEW definitely has more leeway and more opportunity for him to have slaptastic matches
