WWE Crown Jewel 🇸🇦 (11/5/22)

In regard to the reported threat against Saudi Arabia, we are told WWE has been in regular contact with The State Department in advance of the Crown Jewel PPV. We are also that those in the company have been told the area that is believed to be endangered is nowhere near Riyadh, where Crown Jewel is slated to be held. As we reported yesterday, sources within the company relayed that even before the threats became known, they already had security protocols in place, including communications with private security firms that could utilized if needed. There are a lot of people inside the company in different areas monitoring the situation and it was a big topic of conversation Stateside.

We are told that both Paul Levesque and Stephanie McMahon are currently scheduled to be at Crown Jewel this weekend, overseeing the event.

There will be a press conference event Friday locally in Riyadh to promote the show. We haven't heard if it will stream anywhere or is just for local media.

As we broke earlier today during the We Don't Need No Stinkin' Name Show for PWInsiderElite.com subscribers, Jake Paul is slated to be at the PPV this Saturday with his brother Logan.

Titus O'Neil is already in Saudi Arabia ahead of the event.
 
The WWE roster has arrived in Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel this weekend.

Drew Gulak is over in Saudi Arabia. He's been working with Logan Paul in the ring ahead of the Roman Reigns match.

We are told that MVP will not be there for Omos vs. Braun Strowman.

I saw somebody say earlier this week that we gonna get to a point where fans want Sami pushed in the same way that they wanted Bryan and I could actually see that happening cause everywhere they go the fans are cheering for him even when hes not in the ring

I called it a few weeks ago that Sami should be the one who dethrones Roman. He’s got that Kofi, Bryan Danielson vibe going for him right now

WWE will be using drone technology during some of today’s major entrances, according to PWInsider. The drones will be used to create logos in the sky and other such effects.
