Woman Shot for Rejecting Man Catcalling Her in Atlanta

A woman was seriously injured after rejecting a man's advances while out on a date with her boyfriend in Atlanta.

Meairra Mansara and her boyfriend Juwan Davis were riding scooters in Southwest Atlanta on Friday (April 16) on a romantic outing when they were harassed by a man catcalling her from his car. The couple tried to evade the man by going down another street when the man pulled out a gun and began shooting. Mansara was hit in the shin, shattering her tibia. Her mother says she will now have a permanent rod in her leg and is looking at at least six weeks of recovery until rehab therapy.

No arrests have been made so far.
