Woman Arrested After Being Found with Enough Fentanyl to Kill 1M People

According to reports, a North Carolina woman was arrested while possessing 2 kilos of fentanyl - enough to kill one million people. The Drug Enforcement Administration has found one kilogram of fentanyl is capable of killing up to 500,000 people.

Karen Garcia Euceda, 24, was stopped while driving with her 4-year-old daughter in the car in the Durham, NC, area on Tuesday. During the search, authorities discovered the drugs and immediately arrested Euceda. Her daughter was placed in the custody of a family member.

Euceda was subsequently charged with two counts of trafficking and misdemeanor child abuse. She is currently being held on a $100,000 secured bond at the Durham County Detention Center.
