Will Smith Says New Slavery Drama ‘Emancipation’ Has What 'Django' Lacked

Nowadays the more this nigga talks the less I think of him as a man..This Hollyweird ass niggawent from coming off as a cuck to then a simp .. Now he’s coming off as a real bitch.. How dare Django not ho easy on those racist crackers and that fucking coon.. In Will Smith’s world he should've just got the girl and rode off into the sunset.. And let massa and his pet coon get away w/ what they did… GTFOH…

I'm hoping he means that the movie will focus more on the interpersonal relationships and love between the slaves as they try to escape moreso than interactions with the white oppressors. If he's trying to make a slavery movie that is selling some kind of general love amongst humankind rhetoric...yeah, man I don't know. Just don't make that movie.

I’m so tried of these slave movies bruh. Django is probably the last movie I’m trying to see that was rooted in that and that’s only cuz he got his vengeance. Will movies just don’t hit like it once was so I got extremely low expectations. Him having to go out of his way to compare it to Django don’t do him any favors.

So after actually reading the article, it seems that Will wanted to do a story about the power of black love instead of one about vengeance.

I mean I can understand disagreeing and being fine with the movie's direction, but I don't see how what he said is bad and warranting of insults to the man and his character

Your a commodity! One that actually reads before making an opinion or uninformed statement. Bless you.
