Why do some Black Americans hate Africa so much?

Listen to me. The FBA movement appears to be growing. There are a lot more people pushing back against it, which should be telling.

It may have started online, but it is not saying there.
What’s your issue with a growing FBA movement though? Real question for understanding before I make assumptions.

Mind you, hes west Indian and he is encouraging this narrative about FBA hating Africans.

Not one thread he has made with Africnas doing x y and z to other Africans....
Or why West Indians hate x y and z..
Or why does this tribal member hate this tribal member or why these group of Africans kil

He is focus on FBAs because of what??

You asked a very important question and im willing to hear his answer cuz I wanna know if he has the same answers for other enthic groups who celebrate their group

I don’t think what Africans are doing to other Africans etc. matter when we’re talking about FBAs, exclusive to the US, vs Africans.

I’ll wait as well on the answer, but only so I can understand since I’m FBA (by definition, not movement) and none of those other things.

Don’t vote unless reparations are promised, kick all immigrants out of the country, delineate from other blacks who may have been here for generations and identify as black but are not ADOS, etc.

There’s certain principles, mainly pushed by Tariq and his followers, that I equate with the movement. I’m not against all of it mind you, I just don’t agree with some of it.

Not going to get involved in the BS going on in here, but I think this was a pretty good video related to the topic. Timestamped for the relevant part.

Straight facts. Shit is so dumb. We can't succeed as a group or even sub group if thats what you want to be outside of Africa. The world has been designed to keep us on the bottom. Diaspora wars are pointless. We have to put our differences aside and come together otherwise all weapons formed against us keep winning.

That’s why I question anybody that participates in this type of argument, from either side.

By the numbers there’s no way we get what we want but they still want to isolate us even further. It really makes no sense.

Be better to just say fuck government all together and don’t even push or expect anything of government and stop even engaging in these discussions.

Can't believe you're asking me this after all the threads we've had over the last year plus.

It's xenophobic through and through, sometimes plain racist and occasionally extremely hateful.

No problem with reparations exclusively for FBAs, or anything else.

This is why I say that ignorance is a big part of it why black immigrants there say some of the things that they do. They don't know what Black Americans have been through. Yes, black people in the West Indies and Latin American have been through some shit too (esp. slavery, which was worse there), but it's not all the same.

They need to be educated.

That's the big giveaway. I mean there are black people whose ancestors immigrated late in the 19th/early in the 20th century and who identify as Black American but who (they say) have to be delineated from.

Ok I get that, but I’d think their pro-deportation stance would be the real issue. Hate is always going to be there in some form whether from FBA movement folks or whites, but FBA’s don’t really have the power to bring harm. Just like immigrants don’t really have power to harm FBA’s.

Point is, everybody from all sides need to focus on the clear and present danger that doesn’t delineate blacks along ethnic lines. In doing so everybody is falling for the age old divide and conquer tactic, which is sad we can still succumb to it in this day and age.

Reparations
Anti-hate bill against FBAs
tangablis only for FBAs
kick all illegal immigrants out of the country, not those who are here legally
Delineate from other blacks....just like how other blacks claim their lineage. See how Haitians have scholarships for their people Is this not (delineating)??

What do you call this that up there? can 300 FBAS apply for those scholarships?? Who they are designed for "ALL BLACKS" or "FBAs"? Which answer?

Eljah Muhamand spoke on FBAs keeping to themselves...

Tariq is the one that you know...if you followed Bobby Hermit he tells black folks that we are not the same as AFricans

Claude Anderson called FBAs, Native Ameicans, in his books and speeches he spoke about who we are. We need special treatment....we need resources only for us. FBAs and nobody else.

You don't have to agree with it..you're just 1 person who needs FBAS to keep hope alive....but the more you wanna get to understand the "movement" the better off things may or may not be
