Why do some Black Americans hate Africa so much?

They wear African garments during black history month with absolutely no knowledge on what region, country, tribe, or anything about patterns and designs come from.

A lotta black Americans want to align themselves with Africa... But by large the are some really arrogant people who look down on and highly judge us.

It ain't serious enough to go war with them. Niggas just gotta pay attention. And they are now... So it's whatever.

I had a cheat code cuz I have an authentic African name, and I've been personally judges by a lotta Africans in my life for being a culture vulture.... So I been knew wassup. I'm just glad everybody else catching up... They do not fuck with us, not forreal

Shit was so bad in college..I really considered legally changing my name to something more black American...

But I ended up saying fuck it and used it.as a count attack to point out how much they don't fuck with us.... I've pissed A LOT of Africans off on the discussion of my name.

Buh, 9 of my half white cousins have African names and three of my sisters do as well. I know my sisters have had folks questioning them but the cousins I know have caught flack from Africans, especially the two that look like they're pure white.

It's a real and actual division that if you haven't personally experienced you might not believe is real.

In the 70's80's 90's black Americans wanted to feel United with Africa and gave a lot of their children African names..... This happened.

When these kids grew up, they all ran into real Africans who gave them shit for having names they didn't know the history to . My name is actually a last name in African culture so to them 8 look way more ridiculous.... But in America it's common for a person to have two last names

I am trying to understand whats up with the obsession myself.

Folks say they dont wanna mess with Africans and all hell breaks loose.

I dont get it.

But the cat is outta the bag, Folks are peeping the play.

California is in the mix of making it a law for FBAs.

I guess that FBA saying and those 20 ppl online are making a real powerful movement in reality...who know 20 FBA folks online can get laws passed for their own group.
