Why aren't there more movies about stories like this?

because the movie would suck in terms of entertainment

its a great story and great part of history

and if somebody wanted to put up a small budget to make it happen, solely for the purpose of informing and spreading the awareness, then cool

but its not gonna make money if it sticks to truth and proper imagery....just the reality of the business

it would have to be flipped into a whole action packed "mad nigga w/ a gun" flick with a lil comedy in there.....on some Django shit

oh, there'd have to be a love interest all in the middle of this shit too.....cant save the day and dont get the girl

A movie is a movie. I don't go to a movie to learn shit or see something 100% accurate. That's what historical documentaries are for. We can have both. Sometimes movies are good for generating interest in a subject, and when that interest is raised, so is the funding to support documentaries.

anyway this sounds dope,but can't compare this to no Spiderman or Pitch perfect as far as "why aren't they making this movie"

Those films don't have heavy subject matter and appeal to kids.

But yeah this movie or show should be made.Thanks

Action adventure and Sci Fi are the biggest movies ever.Check the list.Star wars,marvel,Avatar,Fast and furious run the top 10 and.

Titanic the only big history film and that shit was really like a love story/adventure....with white ppl
