She sounded hella ungrateful. The person spent their time to actaully make and give them something. That takes more thought and effot most of the time than just going to a store and buying a gift. Unless the workmanship was poor she should be happy she got a gift

That's some super petty shit. What makes it worse is that the dumb chick doesn't even understand that her own post explains why she's wrong. The DiL enjoys knitting. They bought her the materials, so their gift to her was really the joy that she got from knitting whatever she knitted. The comforter or whatever was not a regift. They didn't give her a comforter.
