Prodigy is my goat, prodigy is not a better lyricist than Andre 3000.

Andre 3000 transcends commercial rap and is a league with real spitters. A MF Doom, a KooL Keith, a pharoahe monch.

These niggaz ain’t just putting catchy bars together like Pusha T and Jadakiss,

These niggaz are the T-1000 while everyone else is just the mechanical terminator
 
I'm a true Prodigy fan thats always been on record here.
Prodigy and Andre fans are two different types of people.
I listen to both and have both writers' catalogs fully
They are hard to compare, really, the North and the South
and thats where the bias really boils down.

3000 is more creative and can provide more melodies
P is innovative and conscious, and can provide thought-provoking content

I listen to P more bc I'm a tri-stater born and raised
I get excited when I hear either artist got something dropping.

Prodigy is one of the better rappers of all time, he had such an unorthodox style of rapping. He truly was amazing. Yet André 3000 by himself is better at rapping than the entire group of mobb deep. The influence that Mobb Deep had, especially prodigy, was vast and it was great. So I understand why this could be a discussion. However, as a group, they fell off after MM. OutKast, literally broke up during their peak. André 3000, still gives out quality verses.

OutKast didn’t fall off after Stankonia? Mobb Deep/Prodigy music output is better post 2000. Is Speakerboxx better than HNIC?

I've always kept that same energy for rappers DOA and Prodigy imo is one of the most overrated rappers to ever exist.

To me flow cant carry you when you start putting that against lyricist. Prodigy has flow and delivery carries him, but if you would just read his lyrics its pretty standard.

Andre subject matter and different flow patterns alone was super innovative, more creative and interesting.
