K Dot made Drake crash out and really ruin his career and sue his record label.

“I got love for you all but I'm tryna murder you niggas
Tryna make sure your core fans never heard of you niggas
They dont wanna hear not one more noun or verb from you niggas“
Jesus, ppl tried to downplay the verse at the time but now it hits and screams prophetic

This lawsuit even being filed shows Drake is at a place that's dangerous for any artist. And that's a place of only having yes men around. Because anyone with common sense would've told him this shit basically ends his rap career

This shit. Literally can’t anyone take him and his words seriously ever again after this. Can’t be hard and throw shots on wax when you’re suing your opponent for having success from the same machine you benefitted from for over a decade. This is career suicide from a rap standpoint. Stick to singing my guy.

Agreed. It's bigger than a petty issue
Why would he want to get out of his contract when he has been talking real greasy about his relationship with Lucian Grange like he basically owns universal?

He even has bars about why would he go independent when he can get all of the benefits of being in cahoots with universal and Lucian.

“ I’m putting cases on ALL YOU BITCHES”

Them niggas rolling real hard imma have to
drop the dime on them niggas ion like that shit ion like that shit” Drake

Clearly something as changed beyond the beef. He'd be foolish to sue off of a diss track that truly hasn't impacted his career that much. It's bigger than rap
