Shot a whole video for it. What changed between then and now?My only counter to this is, it's possible he didn't hear the verse before he did his or he didn't know at the time Drake was gonna be on it

This is true...but then this opens up a can of worms for other things with other threads.your opinion on a person can change a lot in 14 years depending on how they move or the more they reveal themselves
Bro I just quit because these niggas is doing what this nigga saidThe overnight crew in this thread comprehension levels was in the negatives

It was actually a Drake throwaway first. Drake didn't want it for NWTS, sent it to Kendrick, Kendrick didn't want it so it got sent back to Drake, Drake then gave it to ASAP.Fuckin Problems was a throw away song from the GKMC recording sessions.
Drake cant win af this point because this has now become true
If we think about it like this...in retrospect wouldn't Kendrick have been "cooning" giving his white friend an N-word pass?Or they were cool. That song was 2012/2013, right? Before Control ever happened
Ego?Shot a whole video for it. What changed between then and now?
I'm not black so I'm not touching that subject lolIf we think about it like this...in retrospect wouldn't Kendrick have been "cooning" giving his white friend an N-word pass?
But see, here's the thing. If Kendrick feels so strongly about Drake being a colonizer and a white man that can't say the N-word...why'd he get on a song with said Colonizer/white man where he was saying the N-word MULTIPLE times?
Why was it cool then, but not now? Why'd the energy change? Interesting
