Spinning off of Missy being the first female rapper to make the rock and roll HOF and the convo about an actual real Hiphop HOF class coming in a few years, I ask you guys to come up with the Inaugural class
They don’t necessarily have to all be from hip hop figures from the 80s and it doesn’t have to all be rappers

There’s many people from DJs, radio personalities, execs, and producers who deserve to be in the hall of fame as well

For sake of the thread list 12 names

You'd be crazy to leave out Grandmaster Flash And the Furious 5 and Run DmC. Also Salt N Pepa in that order.

Eric B & Rakim
Russell Simmons
Beastie Boys
DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince
Whodini
Run DMC
Juice Crew
Big Daddy Kane
LL Cool J
Sugar hill Gang
Public Enemy
KRS-One
Grandmaster Flash And the Furious 5 before The Sugar Hill Gang.

Gmf was a real crew that could really rap

I'd say people that were the roots of hip-hop first like James Brown, The Last Poets, Kool Herc and a few artists from late 70s very early 80s. I wouldn't put Rakim, KRS or guys like that in the first year they'd go in the following year I'd like to keep it by the timeline of hip-hop instead of hopping around from different eras.
