No Lie was the beginning of a trend where I couldn't stand Drake, but on a 2 Chainz song, he'd show out.

The fact that 2 Chainz is getting serious considerations just outlines the issue with hip hop back then.
Not saying that he isn’t. Just pointing out how weak hip hop had to be if 2 Chainz is getting MVP considerations.

My (along with many others) first time hearing about Kendrick Lamar was when the following song began to get popular during the end of the summer in 2012...
