Alcohol and Internet

I’ve kicked the former already, so that’s easy. The internet... I’m going to be doing a week-long fast on that one in a few weeks.
 
Is the internet replacing friends? Do we not value our friendship IRL because we rely on the internet for our "human" interaction outside of family?

I think I'm going to try that internet fast @VIBE is doing. Gotten too dependent on it for my downtime.

Friends can go to since a soulmate/wife/husband doesn’t fall under it

You should reconsider removing internet. All the valuable information you have access to. The people you have the ability to connect to. You’re gonna forfeit that so you have friends to bullshit with?
 
Its gonna have to be Friends & Alcohol.

I contemplated sex instead of alcohol, but im smashing if im drinking...so nah.

And friends are overrated. Wife, children and family is all i need.

People just bullshit online too. Focus on the human condition is getting lost as people spend more time on the internet. Getting desensitized to all the horrors of the world.

Think about how much time we spend on this forum and social media bullshittin' versus time spent on the internet gaining meaningful info to our lives.

Technology has advanced so fast, but what we use it for has not kept up.

My family is my friends.

I see my homeboys like once like every other month if that.

I would never give up access to knowledge. Plus the internet is used to make money so you cut your opportunity to earn a living by like 90%.

Just two weeks ago the internet allowed me to book a vacation for the low to Orlando so my son can enjoy a trip to LEGOLAND and Universal.

The internet right now granted me and my wife an opportunity in our work to make a good wage so we can live comfortably. Without the net Logistics would be hard as fuck in shipping industry from one country to another.

In January, the internet showed me how to change brakes and air filter on my wife car which saved us a couple hundred dollars which in turned allowed me to use that money to take a family vacation to Orlando.

My family is my friends and the internet is the modern library with limitless applications for a better life for me and my kids
