Production, hooks, melody. Pimp was an all around artist and i rank artists who do everything higher than a simple mc

Ice Cube is in my top 5 all time. But if we talking just pure bars/lyrical miracle type rapper. I can name 50 rappers easy that are better lyrical wise. But that doesn't mean you do or can make dope music. Where rappers like Pimp & Cube lack in the bars dept. They more than make/made up for it in the dope/classic music dept.

One of y’all told me you can’t rank him, he’s a legend...like all the rappers in the top 50 aren’t bonafide legends...

I can infer that that is code for “he’s not a good rapper but he’s still a legend so I don’t want to give you the satisfaction of ranking him low to make you happy”
