I agree from a technical standpoint Lupe is the LeBron James of rap. He crazy gifted with the pen.

My issue is his disconnect with the ppl. That’s not something Kendrick and Cole has

If a mf says he listens to madonna and brittany spears allday you can put 2 and 2 together.

If a mf says he listens to lupe and mf doom all day you can put 2 and 2 together.

There was nothing emotional about my response. Running back to that "feelings" well may work wonders against other posters. Not so much against me. My post was also observational.

The broad brush strokes you like to paint with are trite and contrived. Perhaps you'd be better served utilizing a different style.

As well as I. Most of us were far too concerned with getting as much ass as humanly possible in HS to be getting put in lockers. If you had been funnier with your generalization, then it would have gotten a laugh. But it was nonsensical.

I'm sorry if some of those words were too big for you and you want to continue the charade of being simple.

I said that to say theres been a shift in the status quo when it comes to hip hop in general.

Daylyt is arguably the GOAT battle rap artist. And he has Lupe ranked higher than most when it comes to rappers. You tryna push a negative connotation on people who rock with Lupe. But most people that like him and those like him aint tryna follow trends. And that shouldn't count against their ability to make good music.
