Interesting...

I went through the same thread for Andre Benjamin and he was part of a group with zero solo albums and arguments were made for him as a Top player... Nigga sings too like L. Boogie and the closest he even released to a solo (The Love Below) was him singing over three quarters of the LP

The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill is timeless. . Perfection

I voted Top 25

3k might not have a traditional solo album but he didn't stop making music after his debut album either

Debut album with his partner in rhyme you mean?

And I don't think he himself has released an album since Idlewild in '05? That's 14 years ago

Secondly Lauryn still actively touring and performing live... We ain't heard zilch from 3K musically since except through guest features...

i said "not a traditional solo album"

but this is the thing for those like you who feel this way

the plan was to release them as separate projects. The label iirc, didnt want the message to seem like they were breaking up as a group, thus they were combined at some point in the 11th hour. Now that you know this, does it change your perception of him not having a "solo album"?

He's been on a few features here and there since that time, but LBoogie is just a legacy vote into the AS game at this point still riding high off her only studio released album (i dont count unplugged)

I'm just saying we should use the same parameters with both of em

If niggaz willing to put 3k in their top 10, then the same argument can be made for Lauryn

She was lyrically better than both Wyclef and Pras in the Fugees and made them truly sellable as a musical unit...

I can see why she would be in anybodys top 20. Her album one of the few all time classics actually even though i dont listen to her for real. Its not alot of albums that do that.
