When Will Black People Stop Turning The Other Cheek

I don't really understand the judge hugging the chick to be honest. Does she have a history as a compassionate judge, or was this the first person she's ever hugged like that? If she has that history, it's fine I guess. If not, it's just weird.

she's a trump supporter, and a cop supporter

Caring about the case because of the ramifications it may have for people that look like you is fine, but that still doesn't explain why you care so much about how the brother chooses to handle his grief. If you don't agree with he did, there's nothing wrong with expressing that, but some of ya'll are like really up and arms about it as if he did something to personally wrong you.

Tearing down every black person that does something you disagree with is not caring for the community. If that's how black people are committed to treating each other, then we'd all be better off with an "every man for himself" approach to life.

Most black people are they just don't want to admit it.

yet isn't EVERYBODY'S gripe with religion that people pick and chose what to follow...??
aren't "religious" people considered the most judgmental?

mad "religious" are vengeful as hell bruh... stop acting like every religious person is suddenly a beacon of forgiveness just to serve this one argument...then tear religious people apart in the next for never following the doctrine...

the whole point is, regardless of what religion teaches......it's up to the individual...and some people are always going to be forgiving while others wouldn't. and how religious they are has little to nothing to do with it...
I think no black person should follow any of that bullshit. That shit was used to keep slaves docile and hundreds of years later black people still following it. Love your oppressor, if that ain't the dumbest shit

This shit is sickening, no other people but us is so damn forgiving. Those damn Koreans beat on our sista's and black women still buy that shit from them. Dylan Roof killed 9 people and the survivors forgave him.

I know y'all tired of seeing this shit

I can't fathom what he's goin' thru but this was extremely wack

while it is true that some slave owners used a abridged versions of the bible and select Scripture to control salves, that shit is not all inclusive.

but you have your convictions, and that's your business... however the religion is not a European born religion with the sole purpose of controlling slaves.. the shit precedes them, and regardless of whatever perversions they manipulated to their purposes, the overall philosophy and teachings still hold true

nah fuck all that, we gotta be mad and stay mad forever cuz thats the wave

Some people just don't like to live with hate in their heart. Some of yall are acting like "forgiving someone who murdered your family member" is an epidemic. This is the least likely of things to happen in a murder trial. Most don't forgive. Him being black has nothing to do with his choice. Most likely his religious ties and him just not wanting to be filled with hatred and resentment. I wouldn't forgive or forget, but I would move on with my life no mater how hard that would be

It's just crazy cuz I know people who aren't religious at all who understand compassion and forgiveness.

I know people who are religious who are selfish, judgemental, hold grudges, and down right spiteful.

It really comes down to the person is my point.

Letting everything slide to where we have no standards and look weak af has helped how? And yes blacks self divide all the time. Maybe it’s a Caribbean thing based on his country but fuck that shit man

The problem like at @5th Letter said in the other thread.

That shit should've NEVER and I mean NEVER EVER been done in public.

I get the anger and disdain that some black people have for what he did. Cause that shit make black people as a WHOLE look weak as fuck.

Although we've been looked at as weak for how we've dealt with the shit that has been done to us. The shit hits different when the spectacle is done in public like this was.

The same cracka's saying how nice this was are the same cracka's still pissed 20+ years later at OJ. Why we gotta be the forgiving bunch

We don't have to be.

It's just that a certain group of black people still believe by doing shit like this they can appeal to a sense of morality in a group of people who have absolutely no morals.

You have a beautiful wife who isn't ur relative
