Besides alladat... "Bitter" ain't the case. Cats been burned one time too many and at a point you get fed up with it. That ain't bitter, that's being protective of yourself. Calling it "bitter" is really just an attempt to shame people trying to protect themselves and their peace. If you have a problem with that, then maybe it's time for a bit of self reflection on why you feel the need to call it "being bitter".

Maybe you've been the cause of someone else' pain and don't want to deal with that? Dunno, but that's kinda what it seems like to me.
