1. Wildstyle - First Hip Hop movie. Features Cold Crush in their prime, Rocksteady Crew in their prime, Busy B in his prime, Grandmaster Flash, Fab 5 Freddy and shows what Hip Hop was in 1982 before Hip Hop got commercialized.
2. Scarface - Great movie. good plot, great ending. (also Goodfellas and Casino)
3. Paid In Full - Captures Black culture perfectly. The speech patterns and slang was 100% on point
4. Saving Private Ryan - Great World War II flick
5. Do The Right Thing. I saw this 3X in the movie theatre when it came out. There's so many details about this movie, so many things that make it stand out. It's unbelievable that it didn't even get nominated for an Oscar.
But there's also a handful of old school flicks that I want to mention
1. Carmen Jones
2. Casablanca
3. The Sound of Music
4. Gone With The Wind
5. The original Scarface
