Kamala’s policies were beneficial and proposed a lot of things that would have helped black people. We can argue all day if she actually would have done them, but they were proposed.

She certainly wouldn’t have cut Medicaid, put time limits on Section 8, forced companies and colleges to do away with anti-discrimination policies, fired half the fed, caused the black unemployment rate to double the national average, tripled student loan payments and garnished wages for them, etc.

Y’all letting perfection be the enemy of progress.

Even worse, y’all letting perfection be the ally of regression.

I meant that before trump was in office they likely didn't expect maga to gain the majority. They probably thought he'd get checked but maga took over and he has free rein

True, but that’s as strategy. People were hoping that guardrail would be in place. Hope is not a strategy when there’s a sure fire strategy to just keep him out.

What good would it have done to have Trump with a majority Democratic Congress? None, cause a lot of the shit he doing isn’t even going through congress. It’s all between him and the republican courts.

Kamala wouldn’t have done those things but she would’ve done other things that hurt the people. The Democrats have been getting by on the status quo for so long that they simply don’t know or refuse to change their ways. I’m not seeing this “progress” youre talking about either.

In this hypothetical does maga still have control? If they do then she'd likely not be able to do much. I wouldn't expect her to EO her way out of everything like trump has. Also wouldn't expect her to find decades or century old laws to use to bypass stuff. We'd essentially be living another 4 years of Biden policies probably

Not as much as they do now. So basically our options were more Biden via Kamala or Trump. Neither sounds good to me.

Her doing it or not doing it is speculation. My and others speculation about Trump is being proven daily.

What do you think she would have done to actively hurt black people? Not hurting people through inaction, like policies that target or disproportionately target black people?

And if you don’t see the progress, do you at least see the regression?

Democrats and Republicans are two different brands of white supremacy. You don’t watch baseball and expect to see a touchdown, you don’t watch football and expect to see a home run. Telling us Kamala wouldn’t do what Trump is doing is pretty obvious. She has her own set of donors that she would’ve been doing things for just like Trump is doing for his.
 
Its weird to me that so many want to die on the sword for Harris of all people. It was as if no other left thinking politician had a chance, even within their own party. Its like the Left and many Democratic supporters became more obsessed with Biden/Harris than the party and the base itself.

I would understand saying that people should have rallied with a third party or pushed a different Democrat, but that's not the case. The Democrats became the same cult they claimed to be trying to eradicate. This is has been clear for at least the last 8 years.

I remember when Biden said that if you don't vote for the Democratic party that you're not Black. Then when we ask that half-Black candidate about reparations, she couldn't even bullshit to get that vote.

You want me to pretend the secret racists at my window are not as much of a threat because the open racists are knocking at the door. I don't know how to do that, especially when I've done nothing to empower either group of racists, but some of you think the mere act of not supporting the racist Left is indirect support of the racist Right.
