Ghost got a real mediocre flow my guy

This comment is even more offensive cuz it's coming from a Scarface fan. Show me a song where Scarface has EVER flowed as good as this?

or this

You meant to say Scarface flow is trash.

I'm not saying Face is trash, but flow is definitely not one of his strong suits. He's the southern Ice Cube. 2 niggas overrated af cuz they've been around since the beginning.

Show me 2 songs where Scarface is flowing crazy

If you ain't feeling his flow then his cadence then.. His presence on the mic...

I mean this is a guy thoroughly respected in the game and each and every one of your favourite rappers will work with or has worked with going back to Pac...

Like I said I'mma chill .. We're gonna agree to disagree

I'm waiting on yall to show me a dope flow from Scarface or Cube. They might have 1 song each where they finally changed their flow. Other than that, their shit is as simple as Run DMC, they never developed their flow from the 80s.

Flow was never their strong suit.

Yeah, both got a mediocre flow, but can tell the shit outta a story.

Cube I never put on a pedestal regarding flow... He's more known for his lyrical content and being on the forefront of that pro-Black consciousness on his rhymes...

As a dude from the West Coast that was inspirational and dope to me

Face on the other hand, yeah he came up in the 80s through a group but for some reason he was the most successful out of that group when he went solo... A distinguished one at that...

If he was as wack as you say he is then he woulda disappeared into irrelevance and obscurity in the 90s which is regarded as the golden era...

An MC not a rapper right??? For an MC I would say content... An MC cant be talking about nothing because he would get no props, a rapper can talk about anything and still have a hit if his beat is 'lit'...

What if I said that niggaz like tha Migos and Future and all tha “Lil’s” and people in that vein were tha MC’s because they make “party/dance” music that really just “enhance” tha beat like tha Masters of Ceremony that “started” hip-hop by “biggin’ up” tha DJ/music to Move tha Crowd and that “lyricists” and “content oriented” artists like ya Rakims, KRS’, Nas’, Jay’s, etc, etc are tha “rappers” because they “rap” words/content/flow/delivery around a concept or cohesive thought...over a beat...thusly only becoming an “MC” while they perform their songs live....

:think2:

Haha stop trying to fck with my head, B *pause*... I was torn between content or flow/delivery... I get what youre saying though, yeah hip hop started with MC's just bigging up their DJ's, DJ's were the main part of hip hop really, BUT then look at what hip hop became soon after, talking about songs like 'White Lines' for example which had great content and was socially conscious, the genre evolved... The best MC's obviously have content and flow i.e Biggie, Big L, BTNH etc but if I was faced with having to listen to early Immortal Tech (where his flow as has polished) or Lil Big Bumble Bee, no brainer...

Theres always gonna be a place for party rap though, but the O.P said what is the most important thing for an MC to have, so I separated the MC and Rapper and for me an MC needs content...

No doubt, you got a point its just how the genre has evolved I guess... IMO it went from the DJ being the face of hip hop, to DJ & MC, then to MC & DJ, to the MC being the face of hip hop... Its a shame how the DJ has slowly been getting less and less focus over the years...
