I gave 1 to my youngest and seriously have 9 sitting in my garage doing nothing. I considered giving them to my oldest friends but they be hating on her so I said fuck it

I didn't say you needed it, I said they use it, because they do. I can still text other people with an iPhone from my old iPhone with that has zero service over WiFi with iMessaging. Can't do that w/o internet b.

mr literal, my point was that wifi is getting rapidly more common in "third world" countries. to the point where ppl r switching from calling cards to phone apps to reach loved 1s abroad now. not that its reached every corner of the earth but that it isn't restricted to 1st world countries anymore, like it was a few yrs ago.
