What's An Album You Like, But Didn't When It Dropped?

Lollipop, Got Money, and Ms Officer is still some bullshit to this day. And they were singles! The rest of the album is fire but, at the time, I couldn't get past the fact that everywhere I go, I'm hearing these 3 ass songs, lol.

I got a unique type of hate for auto tune because of Got Money.

Oh Boy and Hey Ma were some pop singles, didn't sound like SDE Cam so I didn't want to hear it.

But, joints like Losing Weight Part 2, the Title track, and Stop Callin restored the faith.
 
I can Co sign that i did not like The Black Album when it dropped.

It wasnt until i heard the Remix albums that i really liked The Black album.

To Pimp A Butterfly i didnt care for when it dropped originally tbh. I appreciate it now years later, but its still the least played Kendrick album for me.

I didnt like The Cold Vein by Cannibal Ox when i first heard it as a young teen. I love the album now.
 
It Was Written....Was cool with If I Ruled the World but thought the rest of the album would be Illmatic the second with the gritty, boom bap production. Took a couple weeks for me to appreciate it...
 
Got a feeling on first listen I wasnt too keen on '2001' then fell in love with it a day or two later... Which is crazy as its on the GOAT albums...
