What Product Is A Scam That Everyone Buys Into?

A cool industry insider thing that happened was that T-Mobile tricked Verizon into investing heavily in 5g

And then bought another provider that used 500 and 3g towers but had a tone of them. Advertised as having the biggest network but it’s was just retrofitted old shit upgraded to 4g

So now T-Mobile has a better network than Verizon when it used to be the other way, and Verizon had to lay off people to make up for the costs, now has the shitty customer service T-Mobile used to have and the shitty network T-Mobile used to have

Shit was chess

Thanks mostly to Cash for Clunkers.

Couldn't sell new cars when the old joints were still on the road. There's still muhfuckas daily driving Yugo's and Dodge Omni's in 2024.
That Omni engine a cinch to work on.

Apparently there ready made kits to convert them to run on water.

Don’t know what the reliability is but they out there.

Hell I got a 2008 Ford Ranger with barely 130k on it.

I baby that bitch like she a BMW cause I know she a reliable mule!

Internet over 100mbps if they don’t have a family.

If it’s just you, you don’t need more than 100mbps

Because the additional speed isn’t for a faster internet, it’s for a larger bucket of use.

The average modem prioritizes gaming consoles and pcs and then splits the difference with every thing else.

So one person with up to 5 smart devices, has 50mbps to be split between the 5

And your average gaming consoles only use 15 mbps at a consistent level.

And the left over bandwidth is for good latency

The only reason to have anything beyond 100 is if you have a family or download large digital data files like digital games.

Having a gig internet and it only being you that use it consistently. Is like having a huge pool of drinking water, with one 8 once cup. You can only consume what you need and there’s way more than you could ever possibly use.
Yeaaa I disagree with this lol

My 01 Escape (v6 w/4WD) pulled something like 2000-2500lbs more than it's rated for up and down the mountains from Vegas, on the 40 through AZ (7,330 ft at Flagstaff), NM (7275 ft at Campbell Pass), and TX, then north on the 44 through the mountainous terrain from OK City to Illinois past St Louis and finally here to SE Michigan. 2000 miles. I'm at 172K on the odometer as of last week.

I ain't never gettin' rid of this thing.

I use CyberLink for my video editing. I dont use it enough to subscribe for a year so I just subscribe for when I need it and then cancel.

Yeah, I saw MS Office can be bought but I needed their online service. I needed to use MS Word when I'm not at home for what I'm working on.

You don't need that Microsoft 365 shit. Just search for office 2021 download. You can get it cheap. I think I bought it for $25 a few months ago. I really don't see the purpose of 365 to be honest. I'm sure it's good for businesses, but for personal use, it's a waste of money.

I get it for free. But I would still pay for it. 2021 doesn't have online access to where I can use it on my other devices when I'm remote.

Dude I just saw a Chevy Chevette this morning! That’s a car I ain’t seen in forever.

Also it’s weird how the most reliable GM cars are no longer on the road.

Saturns.

I don’t even see the SUV models riding around anymore.

Cash for Clunkers was a mother fucking monster.

I almost bought a Saturn VUE Redline instead of the Escape, that is until I read that for some reason the engine in the VUE wasn't suitable to tow anything... But it's the exact same engine GM designed for the 1st gen Honda Pilot and it's suitable for towing in that SUV, which makes zero sense to me.

You still see the odd Saturn on the road out west, in Vegas the VUE was probably the most common of them. What's weird to me is not seeing a single Saturn at all since being back in MI. I've seen all manner of older small cars, Shadow, Neon, Omni, them boxy ass Aires, Escorts, etc but not a single Saturn. I've seen rides I swore nobody bought like that atrocious Ford Freestyle and its cousin the Ford Flex. Lotta those on the road but nary a Saturn in sight.

Yeaaah man.

Them flex’s and freestyles stay in rotation out here.

Hell they even customize them. Shits bizarre!

Them Saturns were great ugly cars.
Them polyurethane body panels… had a white girl in tech school that would run full speed head first in to them for a laugh… that bitch was crazy.

You know now that I think about it, Cash for Clunkers was purposely seizing up the engines with radiator stop leak and then sending them off to salvage yards, giving salvage yards the 90 days to take parts off before mandatory scrapping.

That’s why so many salvage yards have shelves of inventoried parts that are catalogued by year make and model.

Scammed the whole country.

Yup! Made it so the cars could no longer be restored or made it difficult to the point where the average person wouldn't dare attempt it. Some of those older cars still got phenomenal gas mileage too, I remember the old 4cyl Shadow could get you just over 30 mpg on the highway and about a solid 30 with the v6. That ain't even that bad by today's standards.
