Primm was spot on about the basketball scene. You could tell Jake was prolly gonna shoot the kid making him look stupid on the court, but no one expected ole girl to get hit too, and to have Fresh sit there holding her in silence like that until the cops came? Yeah, that shit was kinda hard to watch.

Fresh is still a guilty pleasure of mine but there’s parts of it that’s obviously cringe to watch. The girl getting shot, the dog getting killed. Chucky death was one that stuck with me as a kid. Earliest I can remember seeing a kid being killed off in a movie.
