I think its pretty subjective... For me oldskool is more so using the old skool flow and beats, so 91/92 and under.. I would class then the 90s as 'golden era' and 00s 'throwback hip hop'... But tbh Ive probably contradicted myself and classed 90s and 00s as oldskool... I guess every 15/20 years is technically oldskool...
