what do yall think of this 5min video

But I digress, one of the biggest things I've learned. And I'm so grateful that ive learned it at such a young age. Only you make you happy, anything else is momentary moments that you Chase to block out your unhappiness.

It's cool to want to not be in an impoverished area, and have nice things in your home, drive a reliable vehicle. All those things go to quality of life. And that's important when it comes to happiness.

Ever heard people say poor people blah blah blah,. happier than rich people. THATS BULLSHIT...rich people can be happy to. The point is happiness has nothing to do with positions. Being happy to be alive and have another day to "work on" improving your quality of life. Is where happiness lies..the appreciation of you..as a person.

People don't appreciate life anymore..they wanna numb life and live another day. That's like wanting to fuck a woman..not cause you love to nut..but because it's something to do.

You gotta love the nut fam

You've got an addiction my friend... Me too tho lmaoooooo.

No, I really don't.

I use my phone for calling people, getting grocery lists from my wife when I'm out, listening to music via mp3's I transfer to it while I'm out (I don't stream, shit's fuckin retarded), and as a camera. I don't really use much in the way of apps and since owning this phone in particular I've only used the browser a handful of times. For the majority of the day my phone sits in a drawer next to my desk, only coming out if I need to make a call or if I leave the house. I've only been back on a smartphone for a little over a year after running a dumb/feature-phone (samsung t401g) for 3 years.

Gotta remember, I work in IT. My job is to be in front of my desktop fixing people's fuck-ups and I've been doing this for nearly 20 years professionally, 36 years in total. One of the most often things noted about me in this line of work is how often I DON'T rely on devices to get my job done. When I'm in meetings I take notes with pen and paper, never with a laptop. If I have to research a problem the first thing I do is grab a book off the shelf if I have one relevant to it instead of just googling it. I have sticky notes all over my desk and monitors, preferring to write down a note instead of typing it into something. Unlike most people, I'm completely comfortable without my machines and I've even stated here and on the IC that I'd love it if I had the money to re-build at least a subset of my old recording rig so I'm not tied to a computer just to make music.

I sit here 9-10 hrs a day in front of my computer for work. I don't need have a desire to be on it much more after that.
