I feel what ya'll are saying, but she was just asking for funding advice. If I knew a bank that was treating black people fairly when it came to giving out loans, I'd tell her. Most homegrown Black Americans would do that. She calling it sauce and ya'll calling it game, but it's really just the type of basic information black people should be sharing with each other if we actually want each other to succeed.

Didnt sound like she wanted to build anything with them, she wanted a random businesses secrets to then start her own in their area. Whos giving a random intern who just started that kind of info. From the way she worded it, it sounds like she didnt wanna do normal intern shit either, just wanted the critical info when she just started.

Again like the other poster said we're missing a lot of info and this is all assumptions.

As for the second part, whos to say Africans and nonAfricans dont run successful businesses together? Sure we can cherry-pick the ones that dont like nonAfricans, we've prob all met them, but im sure others do business with all kinds of nonAfricans.

If im running a business with family or friends thats doing good, and someone i dont know comes along offering to partner with me and i feel like i dont need them, isnt that within their right? Cuz if we're being real, a lot of people be offering "partnerships" and its really just them looking to get a leg up off your success and dont have much to offer. These Dame Dash's have all kids of shit to say when you dont wanna partner with them like they owe you something.

I'm not saying they are right or wrong but I understand them not wanting to break bread with someone that just started working for them, especially if it has the potential to be a rival business. Let's assume they were involved in illegal activity and for all they knew, she was sent to gather Intel to build a case. I don't think it hurts anyone to properly vet someone

And you tell me what profession promotes someone fresh off the street to CEO by lunch time on their first day.

Its less about the vid more about the mental gymnastics.

I've had multiple convos over the years with all types of ppl with how they own and run their businesses many times without even specifically asking but bc the convo naturally went that way.

In some cases my business didn't tie to theirs whatsoever, and in other cases I was considered competition.

These aren't secretive conversations at all.
