Ofc I prolly was onto Wale before yall being that he's from my area, I think the first joint I heard from homie was the nike boots (staple shoe in the area) song , before wayne jumped on the remix. He's always been one of my favorites, but for w.e reason his mixtapes are always better than the albums, so when he drops the album they always seem lackluster cuz he just dropped a mixtape wayy better a few months before hand.

I've said before that one of my exes is from MD. He put me on go-go and introduced me to Wale and other artists I may have never grown to love.
